Formerly known as Shell Rotella® T Triple Protection, Shell Rotella® T4 Triple Protection Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oil is the most technically advanced Shell Rotella® formulation ever. This 15W-40 motor oil uses advanced additive technology to protect under the most severe engine conditions found in modern, low-emission engines and older hard-working diesel engines. It effectively sustains emissions control system durability where diesel particulate filters and after-treatment systems are used. Plus, it provides enhanced protection against viscosity loss due to shear and improved oil aeration compared to the previous formulation. Shell Rotella® Triple Protection Technology Shell Rotella® T4 15W-40 heavy duty engine oil uses a proprietary formula exclusive to Shell. It is designed to provide protection in three critical areas: Acid control helps protect against corrosion from acids formed as fuel burns and the oil ages. Enrolling in the Shell ROTELLA Limited Warranty is free with purchase and use of qualifying Shell ROTELLA® heavy duty diesel engine oils. The warranty is valid up to 10 years or 300,000 miles (400,000 km), whichever comes first, with use of Shell ROTELLA® T4 Triple Protection® or Shell ROTELLA® T5 Synthetic Blend Technology heavy duty diesel engine oils. It is valid up to 10 years or 500,000 miles (800,000 km), whichever comes first, when Shell ROTELLA® T6 Full Synthetic heavy duty diesel engine oils are consistently used.
Valid for Shell ROTELLA® customers that change their own oil or have their oil changed at a service location and update the Warranty website at least once every 12 months. You must follow your original equipment manufacturer’s oil drain interval requirements.

Transferable up to 75,000 miles (125,000 km)
